Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify objectives, workflows, pain points, and high-value AI use cases.
- Translate requirements into scalable architectures using reusable platform capabilities and services.
- Select and optimize AI models, prompts, reasoning workflows, parameters, and inference strategies.
- Design RAG architectures involving vector databases, indexing, chunking, embeddings, and retrieval patterns.
- Configure and orchestrate agents, multi-agent workflows, memory, tools, and enterprise integrations.
- Integrate enterprise data sources, knowledge repositories, and external systems securely.
- Validate solutions through prototypes, pilot deployments, and business acceptance testing.
- Drive solutions from Private Preview to General Availability and continuously monitor and optimize effectiveness.
- Provide software and systems architecture leadership across multiple development teams.
- Perform hands-on programming, system design, code reviews, design reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Guide, mentor, and coach technical team members and lead technical community initiatives.
- Develop reusable patterns, reference architectures, best practices, and automated feature-testing approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or master's degree in computer science.
- 10+ years of proven experience in agentic application development using Python, Java, C++, C#, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or equivalent languages.
- Extensive experience with Java application development frameworks and technologies including Apache Tomcat, Jetty, Juice, Spring, and JSON/XML/Ajax.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented principles, design patterns, data structures, unit testing with TDD and JUnit, and Domain-Driven Design.
- At least 4 years of cloud computing experience with AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, SNS, SES, and EC2.
- Proven experience designing RAG architectures and working with vector databases, indexing, chunking, embedding models, and retrieval patterns.
- Hands-on experience configuring agents, multi-agent workflows, memory, tools, reusable services, and enterprise integrations.
- At least 4 years of experience with Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, NoSQL databases, persistence frameworks, and SQL.
- Experience developing multithreaded applications and architecting large-scale, highly available distributed software.
- At least 3 years of experience with GitHub, Docker, and CI/CD frameworks including Jenkins and GHA.
- Experience defining and implementing non-functional requirements covering security, performance, cost, and code quality.
- Experience publishing white papers, contributing to intellectual property creation, and mentoring technical talent across multiple teams.
- Strong communication, documentation, technical leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
