Base Salary
$175k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with traders, researchers, and engineering teams to deliver data solutions supporting diverse trading activities.
- Own data products from initial concept through stable production.
- Design, build, and maintain batch-processing and real-time streaming systems for time-series datasets.
- Develop APIs and data-access methods for fast retrieval of historical and live data.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, reliability, and system scalability.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience using Python, Java, or C++ and the ability to work comfortably across multiple programming languages.
- Experience working directly with end customers to scope and deliver production systems in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.
- Experience with financial markets, especially delta one, store of value, or FICC options trading.
- Experience with Linux-based, concurrent, high-throughput, low-latency software systems.
- Experience with pipeline orchestration frameworks such as Airflow or Dagster.
- Experience with streaming platforms such as Kafka, data lake platforms such as Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg, and relational databases.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong problem-solving, risk-identification, communication, and collaboration skills.
