Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Google One infrastructure changes that advance security practices, including building APIs, writing business logic, and changing databases.
- Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects while influencing and coaching a distributed engineering team.
- Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams regarding goals, outcomes, and timelines.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go.
- Five years of experience testing and launching software products.
- Three years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: Eight years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: Three years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: Three years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
