Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based and web-based applications for the Substation Automation Service business.
- Build tools, applications, and digital solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to deliver scalable software solutions.
- Use AI-assisted software development practices to improve productivity and software quality.
- Develop features that help protect critical infrastructure from cybersecurity threats.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation programs, and adoption of new technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/BE) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of software development experience using Azure Cloud, React.js, and .NET Core.
- Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining web applications.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot and familiarity with AI-assisted software development practices.
- Understanding of cloud-native application development, REST APIs, and microservices-based architectures.
- Knowledge of version control, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Desktop application development experience is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and secure software development practices is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, learning, collaboration, and communication skills, including the ability to work with global stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
