Base Salary
$158k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend and frontend systems processing billions of ad impressions and supporting millions of advertiser interactions.
- Own products from conception through deployment, ensuring quality, performance, reliability, and customer experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data specialists to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Break down ambiguous problems, evaluate trade-offs, and implement pragmatic technical solutions.
- Propose improvements, stay current with industry practices, review code, troubleshoot production systems, and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
