Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects and developers on specifications, designs, standards, code reviews, testing capabilities, and deployment decisions.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers through meaningful engagements and community-oriented collaboration.
- Partner with Product, Project, QA, DevOps, and Support teams to release high-quality software and ensure reliable production operation.
- Create realistic work estimates with team members and project stakeholders, and contribute to project planning.
- Research and participate in resolving production issues as needed.
- Document work and contribute to the company knowledge base.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with modern programming languages, including at least one strongly typed language and one scripting language.
- Experience with architecture design using Enterprise Integration Patterns, MERN, MVC, REST APIs, and JSON messaging systems.
- Experience with 0MQ, RabbitMQ, Apache Artemis/Classic, or Kafka.
- Leadership positions or roles on teams or projects, plus project planning and task estimation experience.
- Strong SQL database experience, including table schema design.
- Knowledge of build automation tools and pipelines such as Maven, Gradle, and Jenkins.
- Preferred experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JSF, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Solana, T-SQL, Go, C#, Apache Camel, JEE, JPA/Hibernate, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and asynchronous programming paradigms.
- Preferred experience with financial services, cryptocurrency, and Waterfall or Agile development methodologies.
