Base Salary

$125k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

Build, test, iterate, and deploy internal AI agents and workflow tools for priority business use cases.
Partner with product, IT, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into working technical solutions.
Implement prompt design, tool orchestration, workflow logic, memory and context management, and structured output generation.
Integrate AI agents with internal systems and data sources through APIs, connectors, and workflow automation.
Turn early concepts and prototypes into usable, maintainable, production-ready internal products.
Collaborate with IT, data, and platform teams on secure, compliant, and scalable integrations.
Own deployment infrastructure for internal agentic applications.
Serve as the division’s subject matter expert for agentic engineering and apply emerging AI tools and frameworks pragmatically.

At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
Hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered applications, agents, or agentic workflows.
Familiarity with Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Gemini, Google ADK, or similar tools and frameworks.
Strong understanding of multi-step agentic workflows, tool orchestration, memory and context management, agent harness design, and structured output generation.
Ability to rapidly prototype and productionize solutions from ambiguous problem statements.
Experience integrating AI systems with internal tools and data sources, ideally in AWS and/or GCP environments.
Knowledge of token optimization, prompt efficiency, cost-performance tradeoffs, and lightweight evaluation frameworks.
Familiarity with security, governance, observability, logging, monitoring, access control, and safe handling of internal data.
Strong debugging and iteration skills, including identifying edge cases and failure modes.
Ability to independently own and deliver end-to-end technical solutions in lean environments.
Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers and business stakeholders to create scalable, maintainable implementations.
