Base Salary
$125k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, test, iterate, and deploy internal AI agents and workflow tools for priority business use cases.
- Partner with product, IT, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into working technical solutions.
- Implement prompt design, tool orchestration, workflow logic, memory and context management, and structured output generation.
- Integrate AI agents with internal systems and data sources through APIs, connectors, and workflow automation.
- Turn early concepts and prototypes into usable, maintainable, production-ready internal products.
- Collaborate with IT, data, and platform teams on secure, compliant, and scalable integrations.
- Own deployment infrastructure for internal agentic applications.
- Serve as the division’s subject matter expert for agentic engineering and apply emerging AI tools and frameworks pragmatically.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered applications, agents, or agentic workflows.
- Familiarity with Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Gemini, Google ADK, or similar tools and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of multi-step agentic workflows, tool orchestration, memory and context management, agent harness design, and structured output generation.
- Ability to rapidly prototype and productionize solutions from ambiguous problem statements.
- Experience integrating AI systems with internal tools and data sources, ideally in AWS and/or GCP environments.
- Knowledge of token optimization, prompt efficiency, cost-performance tradeoffs, and lightweight evaluation frameworks.
- Familiarity with security, governance, observability, logging, monitoring, access control, and safe handling of internal data.
- Strong debugging and iteration skills, including identifying edge cases and failure modes.
- Ability to independently own and deliver end-to-end technical solutions in lean environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers and business stakeholders to create scalable, maintainable implementations.
