Responsibilities
- Build and ship end-to-end features across Java backend services, databases, and TypeScript/Angular frontend UI.
- Design backend services and APIs for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
- Design schemas, optimize queries, and perform data modeling and migrations using MySQL and ClickHouse.
- Build performant frontend features with component architecture, state management, responsive design, and strong usability.
- Optimize performance across the stack and write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Build LLM-powered agentic workflows that help users find, understand, and fix data quality issues.
- Improve agentic development systems, including agent instructions, skills, and test feedback loops.
- Collaborate directly with product, design, and customers to shape features and product direction.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building software at a product company and owning meaningful production systems.
- Strong Java experience, including backend APIs, database interactions, and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with TypeScript and a modern frontend framework, preferably Angular.
- Strong frontend fundamentals, including complex UIs, component architecture, state management, performance, and responsive design.
- Solid SQL and backend database experience, including schema design, query optimization, and production migrations.
- Experience writing tests at unit, integration, and end-to-end levels, including Cypress or Playwright.
- Architectural judgment and ability to design APIs with attention to data flow and latency.
- DevOps fluency with containers, infrastructure-as-code, Linux, and CI/CD environments.
- Experience shipping production code with AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Cursor.
- Ability to work independently in a distributed, asynchronous team and fluent English.
- Preferred qualifications include multi-tenant SaaS or high-growth startup experience, design sensibility, Python experience, shipped agentic workflows, and experience in data quality, data management, data observability, or ML monitoring.
