Base Salary
$185k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a software engineering team in developing efficient, effective, and production-ready software from vision through delivery.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems involving analytics, algorithms, large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems.
- Analyze current architecture and operating environments to plan for future functionality and enhancements.
- Use modern architectural approaches, open-source frameworks, and tools to deliver complete end-to-end client solutions.
- Help the team adopt new tools and techniques and identify and implement system improvements.
- Provide software design input addressing hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, COTS/GOTS solutions, and requirements analysis.
Requirements
- Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, React or comparable front-end frameworks, MongoDB, JSON, XML, microservices, Web Services, and Spring.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Flink, Jupyter Notebook, AI/ML tools and frameworks, Prometheus, Grafana, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux environments.
- Experience with UI/UX design and development and software development and design methodologies.
- Experience with SIGINT environments.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
- Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of software engineering experience, or a high school diploma and 18+ years of software engineering experience.
- Ability to contribute to system design, requirements analysis and synthesis, software reuse, and COTS/GOTS evaluations is preferred.
