Base Salary
$140k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Program and Product Managers to define technical design and delivery for a key custom application capability.
- Own development and delivery of the overall technical architecture while managing and guiding the technical team.
- Architect event-driven, resilient systems spanning multiple data centers.
- Design and develop Java and/or Go applications, containerized microservices, and new capabilities.
- Build libraries that third parties can interact with and leverage.
- Investigate and resolve end-to-end issues, particularly across multiple integrations.
- Document code artifacts, Jira tickets, and related processes.
- Support delivery using sound DevOps, agile, cloud, and agency-specific practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- 7 to 10+ years of Java/Go development experience.
- 3 to 5+ years of cloud platform development experience.
- 7 to 10+ years of unit-testing experience.
- Demonstrated experience architecting event-driven systems and developing and deploying containerized microservices.
- Experience with Git-based repositories, Linux, Jira/Confluence, GitLab, RDBMS, messaging/queuing technologies, AWS cloud solutions, and serverless frameworks.
- Experience developing resilient systems in multiple data centers and working in an agile environment.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Preferred experience includes satellite systems and operations, SIGINT, multithreaded systems, AWS Lambda, and related technologies.
