Base Salary
$108k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a software application team.
- Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for defense systems.
- Support both sustainment and new feature development within Agile teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, maintain team cadence, and support predictable delivery.
- Use Agile metrics to drive team improvement and remove impediments blocking team progress.
- Ensure alignment with project and product objectives.
- Work with engineers, architects, and leaders on cloud-enabled systems that ingest, tag, and audit data sets.
- Travel to customer CONUS and OCONUS sites as required, up to 25%.
Requirements
- Experience leading Agile software development teams.
- Proficiency facilitating Agile ceremonies and maintaining team cadence.
- Strong understanding of Agile metrics and their use in team improvement.
- Demonstrated success removing impediments and aligning work with project and product objectives.
- Experience supporting sustainment and new feature development in Agile teams.
- Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance with SCI eligibility before the start date.
- U.S. citizenship, because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
- Typically, a STEM degree and at least eight years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least five years of experience.
- Preferred: Scrum Master experience across multiple teams or products.
- Preferred: knowledge of SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale.
- Preferred: ability to coach teams in Agile maturity and flow improvement.
- Preferred: strong communication and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred: relevant certifications such as CSM, PSM, SA, or SPC.
- Preferred: experience with Ruby, SDS, or SEAM.
