Responsibilities
- Develop software according to specifications and interface designs.
- Coach colleagues and support their professional growth.
- Take ownership and initiative on projects and tasks.
- Maintain and strengthen software development guidelines.
- Research, test, and implement new techniques and technologies.
- Advise and consult clients on technical decisions and direction.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience as a software developer or engineer.
- At least two recent years of experience with modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and/or Java.
- A bachelor's degree, college diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience in a software-related field.
- Knowledge of full-stack web development, application testing, CI/CD pipelines, domain-driven design, and at least one major modern client-side framework such as AngularJS, ReactJS, or Svelte.
- Experience with cloud hosting platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, virtualization and containerization, mobile development, in-memory storage, caching and queuing systems, microservices, serverless systems, or hexagonal architecture is an asset.
