Responsibilities
- Develop well-defined software features and components under the direction of senior engineers.
- Write clean, maintainable code with unit tests and participate in code reviews.
- Contribute to AI-native features through prompt design assistance, API integration, and basic evaluation.
- Develop ServiceNow workflows, business rules, forms, dashboards, automations, AI agents, and skills.
- Use JavaScript, GlideScript, ServiceNow APIs, web services, and integration patterns in platform development.
- Troubleshoot and debug development and staging issues, participate in issue triage, and assist with root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to automated testing and deployment pipelines while learning CI/CD practices.
- Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, pair programming, mentorship, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Support assigned ServiceNow application features and communicate with customers and internal teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, or JavaScript, with willingness to learn additional languages.
- Understanding of version control, testing, debugging, relational databases, SQL, RESTful APIs, and modern web services.
- Prior ServiceNow experience is required; ServiceNow certification is highly desirable.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts is required, while hands-on LLM or AI API experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, learning, and independent task-execution abilities.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
- Passion for software quality, testing, and continuous learning.
