Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and support applications and databases.
- Translate technical specifications into code and develop automated tests for moderately complex projects.
- Integrate third-party products and maintain data pipelines between APIs and backend systems.
- Deploy code to development, test, and production environments and provide follow-up production support.
- Optimize database design, backend code, and system performance for scalability.
- Maintain backend documentation covering logic, processes, and architecture.
- Apply secure development and data protection practices and comply with information technology and security policies.
- Participate in system analysis, design reviews, code inspections, test inspections, special projects, and process improvement.
- Monitor and refine dashboards and SLOs and resolve known problems using playbooks.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in application development, system analysis, or database management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT, or a Bachelor’s in Computer Applications.
- Experience with database design, SQL, and data optimization for high-performance applications.
- Familiarity with API development, integration, and third-party software integration.
- Required skills include Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Node.js, AWS, SQL queries, GitHub, CI/CD, and TDD/BDD.
- Preferred skills include Bitbucket, Bamboo, Python, AEM, and AI tools.
- Proficiency with Agile, Confluence, and JIRA.
- Ability to debug AWS and legacy systems using modern tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
