Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across the Workforce Safety platform.
- Own medium-complexity features from requirements clarification through implementation, testing, and release.
- Direct AI coding tools on multi-step tasks and validate generated code and tests before pull requests.
- Write and maintain automated tests.
- Review code and provide constructive feedback to other engineers.
- Triage and resolve production issues in owned systems.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and escalate blockers or safety and compliance risks.
Requirements
- Strong PHP development experience, ideally in an enterprise SaaS environment.
- Knowledge of modern PHP framework conventions covering routing, data access, validation, and background jobs.
- Solid SQL skills, including writing and tuning queries against production data.
- Basic front-end capability for building and troubleshooting forms and workflows.
- Experience with cloud-hosted environments, deployments, logging, and basic infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Experience directing AI coding tools and validating their output for correctness and security.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git workflows, automated testing, and collaborative code review.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including with non-technical stakeholders.
