Responsibilities
- Design and build conversational assistants, task-based copilots, AI agents, summarization systems, content-generation features, document-understanding solutions, and generative analytics.
- Evaluate and integrate LLMs and multimodal models from providers such as OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic.
- Implement agentic workflows using tool calling, multi-step reasoning, and multi-agent orchestration frameworks.
- Develop prompts, structured JSON outputs, function calling, system instructions, and safety or guardrail layers.
- Architect and implement RAG pipelines, ingestion pipelines, vector-database integrations, retrieval systems, reranking, semantic caching, knowledge graphs, long-context models, and memory systems.
- Build or integrate front-end experiences and back-end services for AI agents and copilots using web frameworks, APIs, and communication protocols.
- Integrate AI applications with internal systems and PropTech data sources through secure APIs and data contracts.
- Design evaluation pipelines, benchmarks, monitoring, tracing, and human-in-the-loop evaluations for LLM-based features.
- Optimize model selection, routing, prompts, token usage, caching, performance, reliability, latency, and cost.
- Collaborate with product, design, data science, platform engineering, and domain experts; participate in architecture reviews and document technical processes.
- Contribute to shared AI libraries, templates, best practices, runbooks, and features throughout their full lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of total experience in software engineering and/or data science, including at least 2 years focused on generative AI or LLMs.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, machine learning, data science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong Python proficiency for AI/ML, data pipelines, and back-end services.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency for front-end and/or Node services.
- SQL proficiency and experience with relational databases and basic data modeling.
- Experience using coding assistants such as Windsurf, Cursor, or Codex.
- Production-grade software development experience, including clean and maintainable code, testing, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and Git workflows.
- Hands-on experience with an agentic or orchestration framework such as OpenAI Agents SDK, Google ADK, or LangChain.
- Experience with LLM APIs and/or open-source models, vector embeddings, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or a managed container service such as EKS, GKE, or AKS.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with voice-enabled AI agents, multimodal models, multi-model orchestration, AI evaluation frameworks, feature stores, data versioning, MLOps, browser automation, AI security, privacy, compliance, and A/B testing.
