Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement LLM-powered applications, agentic workflows, and RAG pipelines using AWS Bedrock and AgentCore.
  • Build and maintain APIs supporting AI applications, orchestration, and downstream consumers.
  • Engineer governed data and analytics pipelines that feed AI and machine-learning systems.
  • Use AgentCore Runtime, Gateway, Memory, and Code Interpreter primitives to deliver streaming, stateful, tool-using agents.
  • Apply prompt engineering, guardrails, model-output evaluation, and responsible AI governance practices.
  • Develop cloud-native full-stack applications such as chat interfaces, dashboards, and automation tools.
  • Integrate AI workloads into delivery pipelines and implement secure coding and observability practices.
  • Create accessible, explainable, and trusted AI-powered user experiences.
  • Write technical documentation, evaluation frameworks, and test cases.
  • Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and contribute to AI communities of practice.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications, RAG pipelines, or agentic systems.
  • Strong software engineering foundation covering design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise applications.
  • Experience with cloud architecture, preferably AWS, Git version control, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with multi-agent orchestration patterns and tool-use frameworks such as function calling and MCP.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript for API and AI integration development.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, model evaluation, and AI safety or guardrails.
  • Experience writing technical documentation, test cases, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Initiative in learning emerging AI technologies and contributing to team knowledge.
  • Preferred experience in insurance, financial services, regulated industries, cloud contact-center applications, production GenAI systems, AI governance, and responsible AI frameworks.

Benefits

  • Potential starting salary of $81,000-$142,000 annually, plus potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary.
  • Hybrid work arrangement with work-from-home and office time; candidates must live or relocate within 180 miles of Bloomington, IL; Dunwoody, GA; Richardson, TX; or Tempe, AZ.
