Responsibilities
- Develop software throughout the entire software lifecycle as part of a cross-functional team.
- Perform real-time embedded software development.
- Apply software engineering concepts, processes, principles, and theories to solve challenging problems.
- Provide technical leadership and contribute to software requirements, design, development, testing, documentation, and diagrams.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related science, engineering, technology, or mathematics field plus 2+ years of job-related experience, or a master’s degree plus 6 months of job-related experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance must be obtainable within a reasonable time after hire, subject to a government security investigation and classified-information eligibility requirements.
- Preferred experience includes real-time embedded development, C/C++, Linux at the user or administrator level, network switches, Kubernetes, Docker, containerization, Synergy, GitLab, and software requirements and documentation.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and software engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
- Ability to solve challenging problems, learn quickly, communicate technical concepts, collaborate effectively, and provide technical leadership.
- Agile experience is preferred.
