Base Salary
$95k - $106k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software throughout the entire software lifecycle as part of a cross-functional team.
- Apply software engineering concepts, principles, and processes to solve challenging technical problems.
- Provide technical leadership and communicate technical concepts in a collaborative environment.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Create and maintain software requirements, documentation, design materials, development and test documents, and diagrams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related science, engineering, technology, or mathematics field and 2+ years of job-related experience, or a master’s degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
- Experience with real-time embedded development is preferred.
- Proficiency in C/C++ is preferred.
- Linux experience at the user or administrator level is preferred.
- Experience with network switches, Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization is preferred.
- Experience with collaborative source control such as Synergy or GitLab is preferred.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, engineering concepts, principles, and theories is preferred.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance within a reasonable time after hire.
- Agile experience, strong problem-solving ability, collaboration, communication, technical leadership, and commitment to ongoing professional development are preferred.
