Base Salary
$70k - $119k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and implement software enhancements, applications, and projects using Java, Python, and related languages.
- Build and maintain data quality and data delivery applications supporting critical financial data operations.
- Write unit and automation tests and participate in code reviews to ensure software quality.
- Participate in Scrum activities including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Triage production issues by reviewing code and logs and developing solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and develop solutions for business needs while collaborating with multiple teams.
Requirements
- Commercial software development experience with proficiency in multi-tier solutions.
- Extensive Java n-tier application experience and professional Java and Python development experience.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure, AWS, reactive programming, KSQL, and streams.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- Ability to gather and understand requirements in the financial sector; a mathematics background is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, analytical, self-motivation, attention-to-detail, and responsibility skills.
- Experience with Agile software development methodology is desired.
