Base Salary
$70k - $119k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, test, debug, and implement data quality and data delivery software applications.
- Build multi-tier solutions using Java, Python, cloud computing, and related software engineering technologies.
- Write unit and automation tests and participate in code reviews.
- Participate in Scrum activities including standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Triage production issues by reviewing code and logs and developing solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and collaborate with multiple teams to address business needs.
Requirements
- Extensive Java n-tier application experience and professional Java and Python development experience.
- Proficiency in commercial software development and multi-tier solution development.
- Experience or knowledge involving Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure, AWS, reactive programming, KSQL, and Streams.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- Ability to understand requirements in the financial sector; a mathematics background is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, detail-oriented, and self-motivated skills.
- Experience working with Agile software development methodology is desired.
