Base Salary
$180k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end development of customer-facing ChatGPT and OpenAI API features and product experiences.
- Talk with users to understand their problems and design solutions that address their needs.
- Collaborate with engineers, researchers, product managers, designers, and operations partners to create products.
- Optimize applications for speed and scale.
- Contribute to a diverse and inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 0–1 years of experience in software engineering or a relevant field.
- Proficiency with JavaScript and React, plus familiarity with backend languages, particularly Python.
- Experience with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
- Interest in AI/ML; direct experience is not required.
- Ability to work quickly in loosely defined environments with competing priorities or deadlines.
