Responsibilities
- Review requirements and specifications during sprint planning to ensure adequate test coverage.
- Build, recommend, and maintain frameworks for automated test scenarios.
- Create detailed test plans and test cases and convert manual regression scenarios into automated tests.
- Plan, estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Integrate and reliably execute automated tests in CI/CD environments.
- Perform functional, non-functional, manual, integration, regression, and API testing.
- Identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and thoroughly document software defects and enhancement requests.
- Collaborate with development teams in an Agile Scrum environment and define QA tasks independently when needed.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of solid software testing experience.
- Programming experience in Java or a related programming language.
- Hands-on Git command-line experience.
- Experience with the Rest Assured framework and API testing.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing types, tools, and processes.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, teamwork, and familiarity with project tracking tools.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Travel and tourism experience is a plus.
