Responsibilities
- Improve performance so daily batch processing runs on time.
- Integrate quantitative libraries.
- Develop internal models for credit counterparty risk.
- Write tests, fix security findings, and keep the CI pipeline green.
- Apply Java performance, memory-management, multithreading, numerical computing, and parallel-processing skills.
- Collaborate closely with Quants, Data, and IMM teams.
Requirements
- Strong Java skills, including performance, memory management, and multithreading.
- Comfort with numerical computing, heavy calculations, and parallel processing.
- Experience or knowledge of credit counterparty risk internal model development.
- Experience with JUnit, Git, and CI/CD build and test tools.
- Experience with Spark and Parquet.
- English proficiency at B2/C1 level.
- AWS experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of risk or XVA is a plus and can be learned on the job.
