Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code for Android Automotive OS SDKs and reference applications.
- Develop on-device AI features, system integrations, authentication capabilities, and mobile or embedded SDK functionality.
- Review peer code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to documentation and educational content and update it based on product changes and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, service operations, and quality.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience programming in Java or Kotlin.
- At least 2 years of experience developing Android applications.
- Experience building and maintaining distributed systems, cloud APIs, and Android mobile or embedded SDKs.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies, particularly Large Language Models or Natural Language Understanding.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with performance, systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms in an academic or industry setting.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies and with code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.
