Base Salary
$89k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.
- Build and enhance application components, RESTful APIs, microservices, batch and streaming data pipelines, and scalable cloud-native data solutions.
- Perform data ingestion, ETL/ELT, transformation, data quality management, metadata management, and canonical data modeling.
- Integrate enterprise applications and cloud platforms using APIs, event streaming, webhooks, messaging, and batch ingestion.
- Conduct unit and integration testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, production support, monitoring, and reliability improvements.
- Contribute to technical design, architecture, CI/CD automation, DevOps practices, reusable components, and developer productivity improvements.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience designing and developing cloud-native data engineering solutions and scalable data pipelines.
- Experience with Python, PySpark, Spark, Dataproc, SQL, or equivalent distributed data processing frameworks.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform preferred, or AWS/Azure, including cloud-native data services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.
- Strong understanding of data ingestion, ETL/ELT, data transformation, data quality, metadata management, canonical data modeling, and SQL.
- Experience with REST APIs, event streaming, Apache Kafka or Google Pub/Sub, relational and NoSQL databases, and enterprise analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with CCaaS and customer interaction data, BigQuery data marts, semantic datasets, data virtualization, or Metrics as a Service platforms.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, DevOps practices, analytical troubleshooting, and problem solving.
- Preferred qualifications include Java, customer interaction or journey analytics, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, vector databases, semantic search, Apache Airflow, Cloud Composer, and modernizing or migrating enterprise data platforms.
- Employment eligibility to work in the United States is required.
