Responsibilities
- Review copy for tone, voice, factual accuracy, grammar, formatting, punctuation, spelling, and messaging.
- Rate deliverables and provide written feedback before publication.
- Review and sign off on high-visibility deliverables.
- Provide quality localization for last-minute or confidential requests.
- Give feedback and suggestions on terminology and brands, and provide language-specific and cultural insight.
- Review copy in context across emails, artwork, webpages, and other platforms.
- Perform full QA across platforms and testing environments, including production, and report bugs.
- Assist with UAT for new tools and features.
- Review incoming tryouts for the represented language.
- Assist with training new testers and support ad hoc client projects.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of real-world software QA experience is preferred.
- At least 2 years of QA testing, project management, or software engineering experience is required.
- Experience in software localization.
- Full working proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, and function in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail, dedication, and strong teamwork.
- Passion for user-focused design, high-quality technology, and products.
