Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test cases for backend, frontend, and API-based systems.
- Collaborate with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Participate in requirements analysis to improve testability and clarity.
- Maintain and improve automated testing frameworks using modern tools and programming languages.
- Identify, document, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide technical insights to clients in a consultant-style engagement.
- Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Depending on experience, make architectural decisions, mentor colleagues, and provide client-facing technical guidance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on professional experience with Playwright.
- Advanced knowledge of at least one test automation tool, such as SoapUI or Postman.
- Programming experience with Python, Java, C#, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with a UI, API, performance, or custom-built automation framework.
- Understanding of software testing principles and QA best practices.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills; German is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps activities, networking, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- ISTQB certification or additional ISTQB certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural environment.
