Base Salary

$131k - $237k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of new capabilities and oversee a team of developers for a complex, high-performance system.
  • Define, document, manage, and defend software architecture while balancing customer, cybersecurity, complexity, supportability, cost, and schedule constraints.
  • Design, develop, test, debug, and troubleshoot applications software and systems, including software designs, operating systems, utility programs, compilers, and assemblers.
  • Establish strategies for application monitoring, infrastructure, interfaces, critical business functions, and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
  • Conduct requirements and systems capability analysis and participate in multidisciplinary research with equipment designers and hardware engineers.
  • Coach and train team members and lead customer meetings, working groups, and technical interchange meetings.
  • Support software architecture activities for Agile/SCRUM teams and perform technical trade-off analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with at least 12 years of related experience, or a master's degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
  • At least 12 years of experience designing and developing large integrated classified systems and at least 10 years leading development teams.
  • Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Security+ certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days.
  • Solid understanding of secure systems architecture and development, including code weakness and error analysis.
  • Experience with JetBrains CLion, Visual Studio Code, Git, GitLab Enterprise, CMake, vcpkg, Qt/QML, C++17, SQLite, NNG, and Google Protocol Buffers.
  • Experience with Catch2, Clang-Format, CPPLint, FlawFinder, Valgrind, Clang-Tidy, MySQL, Oracle RDBMS, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Scripting knowledge in Perl, Ruby, and Python.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work, communicate technical options and trade-offs, and support Agile/SCRUM teams.
  • Preferred knowledge of TCP, IP, OSI models, cryptography, SKLs, and ECUs.
