Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable server-side applications and microservices.
Build and maintain APIs and GraphQL endpoints for front-end and mobile consumers.
Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
Write clean, testable code with unit and integration test coverage.
Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and data teams on integration and architecture.
Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning.
Resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and scalability issues.
Maintain API documentation and technical specifications.
Monitor production systems and respond to incidents to ensure high availability.

2–5 years of professional back-end engineering experience.
Proficiency in at least one of Node.js, Python, Java, Go, Ruby, or PHP.
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and SQL.
Understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.
Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Experience with authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, or similar technologies.
Preferred: experience with MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, AWS, GCP, Azure, serverless architectures, Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices at scale, and GraphQL API design.
