Responsibilities
- Own the AI-driven SecOps strategy, architecture standards, and multi-year security roadmap across the Azure infrastructure.
- Define security architecture and exception frameworks for large-scale Windows VM and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Govern third-party patching with autonomous ring-based rollouts and AI-assisted troubleshooting using enterprise patch-management platforms.
- Own Azure landing-zone security, Azure Policy, RBAC, WAF thresholds, and Zero Trust adoption.
- Direct vulnerability and CVE analysis, AI-assisted triage, automated remediation, and executive security posture reporting.
- Lead disaster recovery, business continuity, RTO/RPO targets, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, NIST, and CIS compliance activities.
- Champion automation with PowerShell, Python, Terraform, AI/Copilot tools, and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional global engineering teams across North America and India.
Requirements
- 8+ years of dedicated experience in cloud security, SRE, or enterprise security operations, including experience at 10,000+ endpoint scale.
- Deep proficiency with Azure, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Policy, WAF, and the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
- Hands-on experience securing Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server environments and using enterprise patch-management platforms.
- Expertise in CVE scoring, vulnerability scanners, and security and compliance frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, NIST CSF/800-53, and CIS Benchmarks.
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Terraform, and AI/Copilot tools for DevSecOps automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree, Microsoft AZ-500, CISSP, Security+, or equivalent security credentials are preferred.
- Experience leading global engineering teams and communicating security posture, risk trade-offs, and compliance progress to executive stakeholders.
