Base Salary
$98k - $292k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive complex, high-impact engineering initiatives across product innovation areas.
- Partner with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering leadership on roadmap priorities, technical tradeoffs, risks, and execution strategy.
- Use AI-native and fully agentic development workflows and help establish AI development principles and best practices.
- For senior roles, mentor engineers and influence technical direction across teams.
- Participate in standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, production deployments, and on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Professional software engineering experience, with level determined by experience and scope.
- Proficiency in some of TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Demonstrated proficiency in AI-native development and experience leading teams into AI-native workflows.
- For senior roles, demonstrated technical leadership through setting direction, making architectural decisions, and raising the bar for a team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in EdTech or building products for learners, educators, or families is desirable.
- Familiarity with search, discovery, personalization, AI, tooling, data insights, payment systems, or marketplace technologies is desirable.
- Experience at a fast-paced startup or high-growth company is desirable.
