Responsibilities
- Establish and enforce repository governance, branching, artifact management, secrets handling, workflow reuse, and build environment standards.
- Drive reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence across GitHub, Artifactory, Azure, cloud agents, developer environments, and supporting applications.
- Develop and maintain automation pipelines for embedded software production on the OPTIMUS platform.
- Create monitors, dashboards, and quality metrics for platform and build health.
- Define and implement build and test automation best practices within CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot virtual workspace, build, test, integration pipeline, and quality gate issues.
- Partner with product, IT infrastructure, site reliability, and security stakeholders to deliver platform capabilities and resolve systemic issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of software development experience focused on DevOps, configuration management, and cloud computing.
- Expertise building and maintaining automation pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms and integrated virtual workspaces.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
- Understanding of embedded software development tools and processes.
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks and software testing tools.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
