Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded software production, automated builds, integration, and testing.
- Architect, implement, and operate cloud-based platforms supporting build, test, virtualization, and co-simulation workloads.
- Integrate pipelines with physical and virtual test environments and automate test suite execution.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of virtualization platforms and cloud services.
- Monitor platform, pipeline, reliability, and software quality metrics and implement data-driven improvements.
- Troubleshoot build, pipeline, cloud infrastructure, and platform issues with cross-functional teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and virtualization, providing guidance, documentation, and training.
- Ensure CI/CD platforms and cloud services meet corporate policies, standards, cybersecurity requirements, and operational expectations.
- Deliver technical updates, reviews, demonstrations, and roadmap presentations to leadership and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in software tools, platform, or infrastructure development focused on DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and/or cloud-based applications.
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or comparable technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, and at least one of C, C++, or Java.
- Understanding of embedded software development tools, build processes, and workflows.
- Knowledge of test automation for software validation in virtual and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD solutions for complex, multi-component systems.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, large-scale cloud-native platform experience, automotive or embedded test framework experience, and familiarity with automotive communication protocols and development tools.
- Preferred experience includes virtual workspaces, remote development environments, and applying cybersecurity standards to cloud and CI/CD platforms.
- Ability to solve complex problems, collaborate cross-functionally, communicate effectively, and lead challenging technical projects through ambiguity.
