Responsibilities

Design and build efficient, concurrent, maintainable Go backend services for the internal API management platform.
Architect and manage API gateways or reverse proxies and maintain OpenAPI-based API ecosystems.
Automate enterprise API governance and lifecycle management for hundreds of developers.
Design robust cloud-native services and CI/CD workflows using Kubernetes and Docker.
Develop scalable RESTful APIs, manage breaking changes, and optimize high-throughput integrations.
Design PostgreSQL schemas, optimize queries, and manage connection pooling.
Support production monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, DevSecOps controls, and occasional internal UI work.

Deep, production-proven expertise writing and optimizing Go services for performance and memory efficiency.
Hands-on experience architecting and managing API gateways or reverse proxies such as Envoy, Nginx, Apigee, or Kong.
Mastery of OpenAPI or Swagger specifications and advanced knowledge of RESTful API design and architectural patterns.
Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and robust CI/CD workflows.
Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and connection pooling.
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry is a bonus.
Knowledge of static code analysis, dependency scanning, and artifact management with Nexus or Artifactory is a bonus.
Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Vue.js for occasional internal product UI support is a bonus.
