Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Cypress-based end-to-end automation suites using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Design and implement automated tests for UI, APIs, backend validations, performance, reliability, and load behavior.
- Integrate, execute, monitor, and analyze automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
- Write SQL queries for backend data validation and raise and track defects with development teams.
- Participate in design and code reviews, advocate for testability and quality standards, and contribute to scalable test strategies and QA practices.
- Collaborate with distributed teams and contribute to best-practice definition and technology watch.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Engineering in any specialization, with Computer Science preferred, or postgraduate MTech/MCA qualification.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, Groovy, Batch, and Ant.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test processes, and best practices.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, automation integration into CI/CD pipelines, scalable test strategies, and complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, React, and Redux is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate technical insights to technical and non-technical audiences and work independently and collaboratively.
