Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to all phases of customer Neo4j implementations from inception through rollout.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert during short- and long-term consulting engagements.
- Work hands-on with Neo4j products, provide technical advice, and train and educate customer teams.
- Develop solution architectures addressing customer project requirements.
- Design and build prototype solutions demonstrating required Neo4j functionality.
- Help prepare solution proposals for customer engineering and management teams.
- Mentor and educate small groups and collaborate independently or within cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree required.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and developing enterprise-class applications.
- At least 5 years of experience in a consultative capacity within a Professional Services Organisation.
- Extensive experience with database technologies and data modeling concepts, preferably involving big data or analytics technologies.
- Knowledge of the Java ecosystem and hands-on development experience with APIs, messaging, and middleware.
- Experience with complex data analysis and solving technical data problems.
- Experience working in an agile environment and with DevOps.
- Experience in consultative, complex, customer-facing projects.
- Ability to learn new technologies and development languages as needed.
- Preferred experience includes financial services, retail, or telecommunications industry experience; graph databases; Couchbase, MongoDB, MarkLogic, or Teradata; and visualization tools such as D3, Sigma.js, Linkurious, or Sawyer.
