Base Salary
$130k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS.
- Support development and deployment of on-premise and portable edge infrastructure.
- Automate deployment processes and ensure service reliability and scalability.
- Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues.
- Continuously improve infrastructure processes and tools for high availability and performance.
- Stay current with technologies and industry trends and explore infrastructure improvements.
Requirements
- Current TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with polygraph and U.S. citizenship are required.
- Requires 5+ years of DevOps Engineering or Software Development experience with a related bachelor's degree, or 3 years of relevant experience with a related master's degree, or a high school diploma/equivalent with 9 years of relevant experience.
- Strong Linux systems administration and troubleshooting knowledge is required.
- Proficiency with configuration-management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet is required.
- Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, EBS, S3, and Lambda is required.
- Experience with application and operating-system deployment, scaling, and management is required.
- Ability to develop in multiple programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go is required.
- Familiarity with Git and other development tools is required.
- Must obtain Security+ certification within 60 days of hire.
- Preferred experience includes big-data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Hive, Drill, Impala, Trino, or Presto.
- Experience with EKS, Diode, CI/CD, and Terraform is preferred.
- Must be able to work at the customer site in Columbia, MD, four to five days per week; some on-call work may be required.
