Base Salary
$58k - $116k/yr
Responsibilities
- Configure Appian GAM Suite workflows, business rules, decision tables, forms, interfaces, and user-experience components.
- Translate business requirements into technical Appian configurations in collaboration with developers, business analysts, and subject matter experts.
- Build reusable components such as clause libraries, questionnaire logic, milestone templates, approval routing, and document-generation templates.
- Support reusable Appian objects, interfaces, data types, and expression rules.
- Participate in sprint planning, standups, demos, retrospectives, and sprint commitments.
- Identify configuration patterns, reusable components, and process improvements.
- Conduct unit testing and support integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution.
- Document configuration decisions, technical specifications, and user guidance.
- Optimize Appian performance through configuration practices, caching strategies, and workflow design.
- Support package preparation, environment promotion, deployment, and release validation.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a Tier 2 background investigation are required.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field is required, or at least three additional years of relevant IT experience may substitute.
- Requires 1–3 years of experience in software configuration, business process automation, or low-code platform development.
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms or business process management tools is required.
- Requires understanding of workflow automation, business rules, and process modeling, along with the ability to translate business requirements into technical configurations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills are required.
- Preferred qualifications include Appian certification; hands-on Appian configuration; federal modernization experience; federal acquisition, contracting, FAR, or VAAR knowledge; Agile/Scrum familiarity; API, web services, or system interface experience; SQL; federal financial management or ERP experience; Azure or SaaS configuration; UX or Section 508 knowledge; and JavaScript, Java, or Python experience.
