AI Engineer- Energy & Operational Efficiency

- Develop and implement AI/ML models to optimize energy consumption and operational performance.
- Deploy and integrate control strategies on EcoStruxure Building and EcoStruxure Power platforms.
- Integrate AI solutions with existing building and power management systems.
- Lead, guide, and mentor a small team of junior engineers.
- Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Engage with internal teams, clients, and partners to gather requirements and present solutions.
- Ensure AI solutions follow data privacy regulations, cybersecurity standards, and ethical AI practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in AI/ML development.
- Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages for AI/ML development.
- Familiarity with building systems such as HVAC, lighting, and access control, as well as BMS/EMS platforms and IoT protocols.
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes deployment platforms and edge computing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with EcoStruxure Building and EcoStruxure Power is strongly advantageous.
- Experience in building automation, energy systems, or smart infrastructure is preferred.
