Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end quality for software applications across functional, integration, system, performance, and automated testing.
- Drive test planning, estimation, risk identification, traceability, and release readiness.
- Define test architecture, automation strategy, frameworks, tools, and quality best practices.
- Expand automation coverage and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
- Own defect triage, prioritization, root cause analysis, and quality-based release recommendations.
- Review test plans, test cases, and automation code for completeness and effectiveness.
- Lead quality and risk discussions with development, product, cybersecurity, and global stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, quality metrics, and improvement initiatives to leadership.
- Mentor and coach junior test engineers and lead improvements to test processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in software testing.
- Strong background in software testing and quality engineering for product development.
- Experience with functional and non-functional testing, test design, test planning, or test activity management.
- Experience with Windows and web applications and technologies including .NET, React, Angular, and JavaScript.
- Strong experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, C#, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Experience with API testing and performance testing tools such as Postman and JMeter.
- Familiarity with test management tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum environments, CI/CD and DevOps practices, and stage-gated New Product Development processes.
- Exposure to cybersecurity practices and ability to manage technical risks, stakeholders, and competing priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coaching skills.
