Responsibilities
- Write and review code for the Lightning Development Kit.
- Improve LDK’s testing infrastructure.
- Assist projects and companies that use LDK.
- Develop and maintain language bindings for Java/Kotlin, C#, JavaScript/WASM/browser extensions, and Swift.
- Add support for splicing, dual-funded channels, Taproot, MuSig, PTLCs, multisig scripts, custom scripts, BOLT 12, VSS, and anchor outputs.
- Improve LDK’s performance, scalability, and robustness.
- Contribute to a server version of LDK.
- Write documentation and review or accept sensible patches and pull requests from open-source contributors.
- Pursue passion projects that improve Bitcoin.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience.
- Hands-on experience with Bitcoin and the Lightning Network.
- Experience programming with Rust, C, or C++.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build creative solutions to complex problems.
- Appreciation for Bitcoin.
