Responsibilities
- Shape products from early definition through release.
- Lead technical approaches for product areas, including architecture, implementation, and trade-offs.
- Build end-to-end frontend and backend features while remaining hands-on.
- Write backend TypeScript across Node, Postgres, Redis, and Kubernetes.
- Write frontend TypeScript using React.
- Fix bugs, improve infrastructure, and support customers when technical input is needed.
- Expand the third-party integration marketplace.
- Contribute to technical architecture planning and evolve the product’s technical foundations.
- Collaborate with Product and Design to turn customer problems into high-quality product experiences.
- Raise engineering standards through technical judgment, implementation quality, and collaboration.
- Support Sales and Marketing teams with engineering context when useful.
Requirements
- Multiple years of industry experience building full-stack web applications, ideally in SaaS.
- Strong TypeScript knowledge and experience across frontend and backend systems.
- Experience shipping end-to-end features into production.
- Strong technical judgment and experience contributing to architecture and technical direction.
- Appreciation for design, usability, and digital product craftsmanship.
- Experience collaborating directly with Product and Design and delivering value to customers or users.
- Ability to consider the broader product and architecture impact of technical decisions.
- Hands-on leadership experience, including setting direction while continuing to build.
- Ability to balance speed, product quality, and technical quality.
- High ownership and willingness to contribute wherever engineering expertise has the greatest impact.
