Responsibilities
- Develop payment features for the Banque ONE platform and related logistics systems.
- Design and implement robust, performant REST and SOAP APIs.
- Write production-quality Java and Spring Boot code and contribute to technical architecture decisions.
- Implement and manage 3D Secure, SEPA/IBAN direct debits, unpaid-payment detection, PSP integrations, and new payment methods such as Wero.
- Optimize latency and throughput and ensure 24/7 high availability.
- Implement monitoring and observability, manage production incidents, and apply unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices.
- Collaborate with product, business, and technical teams and document technical solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend development experience.
- Significant experience on at least one long-term project involving payment flows and payment methods.
- Experience with high-availability and high-load environments.
- Strong Java and Spring Boot skills at a senior level.
- Experience implementing observability metrics and designing REST/SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of relational databases, MySQL, ORM technologies such as Hibernate and JPA, and high-performance distributed systems.
- Autonomy, pragmatism, curiosity, persistence, teamwork, and the ability to communicate with business teams.
