Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Gardener Extensions and Kubernetes controllers in Go.
- Develop scalable and maintainable solutions for cloud operations and development.
- Become a Gardener maintainer and write Gardener Enhancement Proposals.
- Attend Gardener technical and product steering committee meetings and perform code reviews.
- Attend Kubernetes meetings and contribute to upstream Kubernetes when needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to translate needs into technical solutions.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional experience in a related field.
- Hands-on software engineering experience with Go.
- Very good understanding of Kubernetes, cloud, and container technologies.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Background in agile software engineering and strong English communication skills.
