Responsibilities
- Maintain availability, reliability, scalability, monitoring, and alerting for trading and finance platforms.
- Automate release and deployment processes and build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy, install, configure, and maintain trading, finance, and related software.
- Configure bare-metal and cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- Design and manage cloud-based servers, networks, storage, firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring systems.
- Administer UNIX infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Work with developers to prototype and design infrastructure features.
- Manage in-house and external monitoring systems and work with Nexus and Git repositories.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the field.
- Experience as an SRE or DevOps engineer.
- Strong OS-level administration experience with Linux and/or UNIX.
- Experience with IaaS solutions using Ansible and/or Terraform.
- Experience orchestrating Docker containers with OpenShift and/or HashiCorp technologies.
- Ability to read and analyze errors and strong knowledge of TCP/IP and the ISO/OSI stack.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Zabbix, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, Grafana, and Kibana.
- Experience working with Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, and/or Envoy.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Nice-to-have experience supporting JVM applications, software development, Bash/Python/Groovy scripting, TeamCity CI/CD pipelines, and solving problems with code and scripts.
