Base Salary
$94k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, test, install, and support complex software solutions.
- Investigate and resolve complex application, system, and production issues through troubleshooting.
- Improve system operations through systems analysis and recommendations for policy and procedure changes.
- Work throughout the software development lifecycle and participate in design reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers, potentially mentor peers, and review teammates' code.
- Identify, measure, monitor, and control risks in accordance with risk and compliance policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant education and/or experience.
- Four years of software development experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, or similar enterprise application technologies.
- Two years of experience delivering technology solutions across all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle, including leading code and design reviews.
- Experience developing and supporting containerized services using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Experience with event-driven architecture or messaging technologies such as Kafka.
- Developing business acumen in business operations, risk management, industry practices, and emerging trends.
- Experience troubleshooting applications and systems to address production issues.
- Experience articulating technical challenges and solutions.
- Preferred experience with mainframe or legacy integrations, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering practices, AWS technologies and services, and automation or AI-assisted engineering and production-support tools.
