Alpha End to End Solution Architect, AVP
State StreetResponsibilities
- Support solution and architecture design throughout sales and implementation processes.
- Capture, document, and obtain sign-off on business requirements from clients and internal and external stakeholders.
- Create system and process-flow documentation and schematic diagrams.
- Identify non-standard requirements, escalate exceptions through change-control forums and the Alpha Design Council, and develop aligned solutions.
- Support implementation programs, target-state models, operational workflows, and solution deliverables.
- Coordinate stakeholders across the end-to-end project lifecycle and contribute to product development and standardization.
- Help build an APAC Solution Architecture team supporting concurrent sales initiatives and implementation programs.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of financial markets and investment management processes across front-, middle-, and back-office functions.
- Deep knowledge of front-office systems, middle-office operations, and data management.
- Extensive operational experience with a broad range of security types, including complex derivatives and alternatives.
- Knowledge of the end-to-end investment management cycle.
- Strong presentation, written and oral communication, collaboration, relationship-building, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Degree in a financial or analytical discipline preferred, or relevant financial-services industry experience.
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Agile software development, Systems Thinking, and/or professional services is an asset.
- Prior State Street and Alpha platform experience is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel potentially.
