Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution architecture across Legal, M&A, VC, and Global Communications.
- Design scalable, cloud-native AWS solutions across compute, storage, data, and AI/ML services.
- Define application modernization roadmaps and migration paths toward API-first, cloud-native alternatives.
- Lead architecture for GenAI, ML, and AI-powered use cases from ideation through production.
- Design data ingestion, model serving, RAG, and evaluation architectures while supporting responsible AI practices.
- Establish architectural standards, integration patterns, backend architectures, and reusable frameworks.
- Mentor and upskill junior and mid-level developers through architecture reviews, design sessions, and technical spikes.
- Translate complex technical concepts for legal and business stakeholders and present roadmaps to leadership.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in software, solution, or technical architecture roles.
- Deep AWS architecture experience, including Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, RDS, Glue, SageMaker, and Bedrock.
- Strong background in microservices, event-driven systems, API-first design, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, model lifecycles, MLOps, data pipelines, and model deployment.
- Practical GenAI experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
- Strong data architecture knowledge spanning structured and unstructured data, data lakes, document stores, and vector databases.
- Experience with enterprise security, compliance, and access control.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Experience with legal, financial, or professional services firms is preferred.
- Familiarity with legal technology platforms, vector databases, semantic search, DevOps/MLOps, infrastructure as code, Azure, GCP, and Microsoft 365 integrations is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
