Responsibilities
- Design and implement user interfaces that make complex investing concepts accessible.
- Build visually rich and custom Android user experiences.
- Experiment with new technologies to get the best out of the Android platform.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code with security treated as a first-class concern.
- Implement, improve, fix, and suggest technical and product changes.
- Own the full app lifecycle from ideation through delivery to the Play Store.
- Stay current with the technology landscape and changes in the Android framework.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- A university degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or natural sciences, or a comparable qualification.
- Exposure to or interest in Kotlin, RxJava, Coroutines, Compose, Dagger, and GraphQL API.
- Strong analytical thinking in both technical and product domains.
- Passion for delivering great UX and working with custom UI.
- Clear, concise, and targeted communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to changes in the Android framework.
- Interest in other technology stacks.
- Prior fintech experience is an asset but is not required.
